A-G-120 - Display

Case IH A-G-120 - Display – Autoguidance System (AFS AccuGuide): No Swath is within 1/2 the Swath Width

Issue description

This is an operational error indicating that the vehicle is located in a pattern where guidance swaths cannot be generated because the vehicle is more than one-half of the swath width away from the selected swath.

Applies to these machines

  • MAGNUM AFS Connect
  • STEIGER AFS Connect
  • Magnum
  • Steiger
  • long-wheelbase Puma
  • Optum
  • Axial-Flow 260
  • AF series
  • Patriot 50 series

Check the cause

  1. Verify the physical location of the vehicle relative to the selected A-B line or swath to ensure it is not further than half the implement's swath width away

  2. Determine if operating in a spiral pattern and check if the innermost swaths have been reached where software limits further generation

  3. If operating on a curved swath, verify if the vehicle has been driven past the generated swath extensions

Repair steps

  1. Manually steer closer to swath

For standard/straight swaths, manually steer the vehicle closer to the intended swath line until you are within half the swath width, then re-engage the autoguidance.

  2. Create new straight pattern

For spiral patterns, if you are in the midst of the innermost swaths, create a new straight pattern for the innermost area of the field.

  3. Drive tighter on curved swath

For curved swaths, if you have driven past the extensions, drive tighter/closer on the curved swath pattern to allow the system to pick up the guidance line again.
