Case IH A-G-503 - Display – Autoguidance system / AFS Pro 1200 display monitor: Swath Too Long
Issue description
Operational alert indicating that the swath being recorded or recalled by the autoguidance system exceeds the maximum allowed length programmed into the software.
Applies to these machines
5 machines- MAGNUM AFS Connect
- STEIGER AFS Connect
- Tractors
- Combines
- Sprayers
Check the cause
Verify the current autoguidance operation being performed by the operator (e.g., recording a field boundary, an AB line, or a curve swath).
Check the distance already recorded for the active swath on the display to see if it has hit the 15.0-mile or 50.0-mile threshold.
Confirm if the operator is attempting to recall a previously saved pivot swath that exceeds the system's maximum radius limits.
Repair steps
Acknowledge and clear the fault code on the AFS Pro 1200 display.
Stop recording the current swath.
Break the field down into smaller segments if the field is exceptionally large and requires a longer guidance line.
Create a new swath line (e.g., a new AB line or curve) to continue working while staying within the 15.0-mile (curve/boundary) or 50.0-mile (AB/heading) limits.
