Case IH A-G-555 - Display – Display: Wheel Calibration Center Offset Too Large
Issue description
The fault code A-G-555 does not exist in the Case IH ecosystem. It combines unrelated technical terms, including a Siemens CNC alarm for center offset. If a Case IH machine experiences a wheel calibration offset issue, it is typically related to the AFS AccuGuide system failing to converge on a swath line due to incorrect implement geometry settings (inline offset) or a miscalibrated Wheel Angle Sensor (WAS).

Check the cause
Verify the physical steering cylinder rod length (must be within ¼" on both sides).
Check the "Antenna Center Offset" and "Inline Offset" measurements in the Pro700/Viper 4 display to ensure a negative/positive value wasn't entered incorrectly for the implement or GPS receiver.
Check the Wheel Angle Sensor for physical damage or loose linkage.
Repair steps
Navigate to Calibration
Navigate to TOOLBOX > CALIBRATION on the AFS display.
Select Calibration Type
Select "Rear Wheel Position" (or Steering Angle Sensor calibration) from the drop-down list.
Drive Machine
Drive the machine straight forward at 2–6 km/h in a wide-open area.
Turn Steering Wheel
Follow the on-screen prompts to turn the steering wheel full lock left and right.
Save Calibration
Press OK to save the new center position.
