Case IH A-G-610 - Display – Display: Incorrect GNSS Receiver Installed
Issue description
The tractor's display system has detected a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver that is either incompatible with the current hardware/software configuration, incorrectly configured, or not recognized by the system's firmware.
Applies to these machines
4 machines- MAGNUM AFS Connect
- STEIGER AFS Connect
- Quadtrac AFS Connect
- Optum AFS Connect
Check the cause
Verify the physical GNSS receiver mounted on the cab roof is a supported model for the AFS Connect system (e.g., Vector Pro, AFS 392, or AFS 372) rather than an older, unsupported model (like the AFS 252/262).
Verify that the AFS Pro Display (e.g., Pro 1200) has the latest firmware installed and that the software is configured to look for the specific receiver model installed on the roof.
Inspect all electrical connections between the GNSS receiver and the Processing and Connectivity Module (PCM) / Display for corrosion or damage.
Ensure the receiver has the correct factory unlocks (e.g., Base, Medium, or High accuracy) and that the AFS Connect cellular connectivity and RTK+ subscriptions are active.
