Case IH A-PF-170 - Display – Data Management / Precision Farming (PF) system: Export Failed. Destination Drive Full.
Issue description
This is a low-severity data management code indicating that a data export operation has failed because the destination storage drive (typically a USB flash drive) has insufficient free space to hold the exported files.
Applies to these machines
8 machines- MAGNUM AFS Connect
- STEIGER AFS Connect
- Magnum series tractors
- Steiger and Quadtrac series tractors
- Optum series tractors
- Puma series tractors (long-wheelbase)
- Axial-Flow 260 and AF series combines
- Patriot 50 series sprayers
Check the cause
Verify the available free space on the inserted USB drive, as large data exports require sufficient capacity.
Ensure the USB drive is formatted correctly to FAT32, which is required by the Pro 1200 display.
Ensure the USB drive is not write-protected or corrupted, which can mimic a full drive response.
Repair steps
Remove the USB drive from the AFS Pro 1200 display's USB port.
Insert the USB drive into a desktop computer or laptop.
Review the files on the drive.
Delete old, unneeded files (such as old .cn1 folders, TaskData, or old shapefiles) to clear sufficient space.
Alternatively, format the USB drive completely to FAT32 to wipe it clean, or obtain a new, blank USB drive with a larger capacity.
Re-insert the USB drive into the Pro 1200 display.
Navigate to the Data Management tab, select your destination, and retry the export process.
Wait for the green checkmark indicating the export is complete.
