A-PF-175 - Display

Case IH A-PF-175 - Display – Precision Farming (PF) controller / Data Management system: Export Failed

Issue description

A "Low" severity code indicating that a data export process (such as exporting yield data, boundaries, or prescriptions to a USB drive) was incomplete.

Applies to these machines

  • MAGNUM AFS Connect
  • STEIGER AFS Connect
  • AFS Connect Magnum series tractors
  • AFS Connect Steiger series tractors
  • Optum series tractors
  • Long-wheelbase Puma series tractors
  • Axial-Flow 260 and AF series combines
  • Patriot 50 series sprayers

Check the cause

  1. Check the USB drive to ensure it is properly inserted into the display's USB port.

  2. Verify that the USB drive has sufficient free storage space to accept the exported data.

  3. Check the file structure to ensure the USB drive is formatted correctly and does not have corrupted .cn1 or TASKDATA folders.

  4. Attempt the data export again to rule out a temporary software glitch.

Repair steps

  1. Re-attempt Export

Re-insert the USB drive and try the export process again.

  2. Test the USB Drive

If the export fails, remove the USB drive and test it on a computer to ensure it is readable and not corrupted.

  3. Replace the USB Drive

Try using a brand new, properly formatted USB flash drive and attempt the export once more.

  4. Reboot the Display

Perform a key-off cycle to reboot the AFS Pro 1200 display and clear any temporary memory hangups.

  5. Dealer Intervention

If the display consistently fails to export data to known-good USB drives, determine the cause of the incomplete data export. See your CASE IH dealer if you need assistance. The display may require a firmware update (Over-the-Air or via dealer laptop) or hardware replacement.
