   Inspect

   Visually inspect the Engine Position Sensor (8.3, 9 Liter) and Crankshaft Sensor (15 Liter) for damage or loose connections.

   Test

   Use a multimeter to test the electrical signals from the Engine Position Sensor (8.3, 9 Liter) and Crankshaft Sensor (15 Liter) as per the service manual.
