Case IH F-102-01 - ECU – Engine ECU (A-095): Intake manifold pressure sensor voltage is lower than expected.

The control module is detecting that the voltage signal returning from the intake manifold pressure sensor (MAP/boost sensor) has dropped below the normal calibrated range. This typically indicates a short to ground in the sensor wiring, a disconnected line, or an internal failure of the sensor itself.

   Verify that the machine battery has not been connected to an external power supply (like a jump box or external charger), as voltage irregularities can trigger this code

   Check the sensor harness for a shorted to low source or a disconnected line

   Look for rubbed wires or corrosion at the sensor connector

   Check the Engine ECU (A-095) for the appropriate software version

   Turn off the machine and disconnect any external power supplies.

   Ensure the machine is off and any jump box or external charger is disconnected.

   Locate the intake manifold pressure sensor.

   Find the sensor on the engine's intake manifold.

   Disconnect and inspect the sensor connector.

   Disconnect the 4-pin connector and inspect for moisture, bent pins, or corrosion.

   Test the wiring harness.

   Test the wiring harness for continuity and ensure there is no short to ground.

   Replace the intake manifold pressure sensor.

   If the wiring is good but the voltage remains lower than expected, replace the intake manifold pressure sensor.

   Perform a post-repair reset.

   Once the physical issue is resolved, connect the Case IH Electronic Service Tool (EST). Navigate to the configure menu and perform the 'Engine Restart Counter Reset / Unlock Inducement' configuration to clear the derate/inducement state. Return the machine to service.
