Case IH F-107-15 - ECU – A-095 module: Air filter clog or circuit failure

The system triggers this code when the engine speed exceeds 1400 RPM for more than 10 minutes and the system detects an active restriction in the engine air intake or a failure in the sensor's electrical circuit.

   Connect the Case IH Electronic Service Tool (EST) to verify if the fault is currently present and active. If inactive, the issue may be an intermittent wiring short.

   Inspect the primary air filter for severe dust buildup, debris, or blockages.

   Check the wiring harness and connector for the air filter clogging switch (S-022) for damage, corrosion, or continuity issues back to the A-095 module.

   If the filters are clean and the S-022 switch circuit is intact, check the A-095 module software or hardware.

   Filter Maintenance

   Open the engine air intake housing. Remove the primary (large outer) air filter. If it is blocked, you can blow it out (if permitted by your maintenance schedule) or replace it.

   Safety Filter Protocol

   Inspect the secondary (safety) filter. Never blow out the safety filter with compressed air; if it is dirty or indicating a blockage, it must be replaced immediately.

   Test the Switch

   If the filters are clean but the code remains active, disconnect the S-022 air filter clogging switch. Test the switch for internal faults using a multimeter. With the ignition key on, verify the voltage readings match the manual's specifications.

   Replace Components

   Replace the S-022 switch if it has failed internally. Repair any damaged wires in the harness leading to the A-095 module.

   Validation

   Clear the fault code using the EST. Run the engine above 1400 RPM for at least 10 minutes to ensure the F-107-15 code does not return.
