   Check for Related Codes: Look for other active CGR fault codes that might indicate a hardware failure rather than just a software limit. Related codes to watch for include 522808-12 (NV Memory error), 522820-12 (Receiver internal temperature), or 6984-00 (Internal supply voltage failure).

   Inspect Connections: Verify the integrity of the CGR serial interface cable and its connections to the receiver to rule out communication dropouts.

   Connect Diagnostic Tool

   Connect the CNH Electronic Service Tool (EST) to the tractor's diagnostic port.

   Flash/Update Software

   Update the CGR software to the latest available version. OEM bulletins indicate updates from base versions (like v1.0.0.0 or v1.1.0.0) to newer releases (such as v2.1.0.0 or higher) are required to resolve software resource limitations.

   After the flash is complete, cycle the key power, allow the AFS display and CGR to boot up, and clear the inactive fault codes.
