   Verify if there is a newer firmware version available for the CGR. Software corruption can sometimes trigger false NV memory faults.

   Connect the Electronic Service Tool (EST) to the machine.

   Note: For AFS Connect machines (like the Magnum AFS Connect), you must use the DPA5 adapter with the newer Type 2 (Green) diagnostic connector, as the older Type 1 (Black) connector is not compatible with the 500 Kbps CAN bus speed on these models.

   Navigate to the CGR module in the EST and attempt to clear the fault code.

   If the code clears and does not return upon a reboot, the error was likely a temporary software glitch.

   If the code is active and a software update is available, reflash the CGR module to the latest firmware.
