Case IH L01 – Front Suspension control system / Transmission/EDC controller: Lockout Valve Raising Solenoid Not Working

The front suspension lock solenoid valve has an open circuit or a short to ground.

   Test the wiring harness leading to the front suspension lock solenoid valve for an open circuit or a short to ground.

   Inspect the front suspension hydraulic components, including hoses, fittings, and cylinders, for any leaks or physical damage.

   Ensure that the front axle potentiometers and sensors related to the front suspension system are properly calibrated according to manufacturer guidelines.

   Disconnect the tractor's battery for a short period to reset the electronic control systems, which may clear the error if it was triggered by a temporary voltage glitch.

   Resolve Wiring Issues

   If the diagnostic checks reveal a short or open circuit in the harness, repair or replace the damaged wiring leading to the lockout valve raising solenoid.

   Replace the Solenoid

   If the wiring is intact and the solenoid tests faulty, safely relieve hydraulic pressure and replace the faulty PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) solenoid valve on the suspension control valve block.

   Perform Calibration

   Any time a PWM solenoid valve is replaced, a potentiometer is replaced, or a mechanical repair is effected on this system, a Transmission/EDC Calibration must be performed.

   Clear Codes

   Use the tractor's H-Menu or a specialized diagnostic tool to clear the L01 fault code from the non-volatile memory.
