This code indicates a software bug or incompatibility within the tractor's central controller that causes it to display erroneous fault codes. The underlying condition is not a mechanical failure, but rather outdated firmware that requires an update.

   Check Software Revision: Enter the H-Menu on the instrument cluster and navigate to H4 (Software revision level check for the XCM Controller) to verify the current firmware version.

   Perform Switch Tests: Navigate to H5 (Switch test) to ensure the physical switches for the Electro-Hydraulic Remotes, Front Suspension, and PTO are communicating properly with the XCM.

   Check for Harness Issues: Ensure there are no physical shorts or open circuits in the harness between the cab controls, the XCM controller, and the remote valves, as wiring issues can sometimes interrupt software communication.

   Connect Diagnostic Tool

   Connect the CNH Electronic Service Tool (EST) laptop to the tractor's 9-pin CAN BUS diagnostic port using a DPA5 adapter.

   Flash the XCM

   Open the CNH EST software, locate the XCM controller, and download/flash the latest software revision provided by CNH.

   Reset Memory

   Once the flash is complete, use the onboard diagnostic menu and navigate to H8 (Non-volatile memory reset for the XCM Controller) to clear old data.
