Case IH U09 – Electronic Management Unit (EMU) / Suspension EDC (Electronic Draft Control) processor: Suspension Is Stationary During The Lowering Command In The Auto Calibration Procedure (ACP)
Issue description
During the front axle suspension's automatic calibration, the system commands the suspension to lower to its minimum height. If the system detects that the suspension is not moving downward (remaining stationary) during this descent command, it triggers the U09 error and halts the calibration.

Check the cause
Disconnect any attached implements (external weight can interfere with the calibration)
Check the hydraulic oil supply pressure to the suspension system
Check the suspension system's mechanical components for physical binding or damage
Check the unload solenoid (specifically identified by the "GREEN" wiring harness/connector) and its installation
Repair steps
Prepare the Tractor
Park the tractor on a flat, level surface. Completely disconnect any front or rear implements from the tractor.
Hydraulic Pressure Test
Verify that the hydraulic pump is delivering the correct oil supply pressure to the front suspension valve block.
Mechanical Inspection
Inspect the front axle suspension mechanics (linkages, cylinders, and pivot points) to ensure nothing is physically preventing the axle from lowering.
Inspect the Unload Solenoid
Locate the suspension control valve block. Identify the unload solenoid, which is color-coded with a "GREEN" wiring harness.
Electrical Testing
Check the installation of the green unload solenoid. Test the green wiring harness for continuity, open circuits, or shorts back to the suspension processor.
Component Replacement
If the wiring is intact but the solenoid fails to actuate the valve to release pressure, replace the unload solenoid.
Recalibrate
Once repairs are made, warm up the tractor and re-enter the H1 menu (Suspension Calibration) to run the Auto Calibration Procedure (ACP) again.
