CLAAS Id7504h / 7504h – MFA (A100): Signal voltage specified with the Drivestick too high.
Issue description
The voltage signal coming from the Drivestick control lever to the armrest module is exceeding the expected upper limit, typically caused by a short-circuit to power, an open circuit, or an internal failure. This causes the multifunction armrest to become inactive and the transmission to enter a degraded mode.

Check the cause
Inspect the physical condition and action of the Drivestick (R74)
Verify the connections at the multifunction armrest module (MFA A100)
Check for any short-circuits to power or open circuits in the wiring harness between the Drivestick (R74) and the MFA (A100)
Check the component's resistance and verify the energy sources (fuses, power supply, and ground)
Verify the physical adjustment and calibration of the Drivestick
Repair steps
Power Down
Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery to prevent electrical spikes.
Access the Armrest
Disassemble the right-hand console/multifunction armrest to access the internal wiring for the Drivestick (R74) and the MFA (A100) module.
Inspect Wiring
Visually inspect the harness connecting R74 to A100. Look for pinched wires, chafing, or disconnected pins. Repair any damaged wiring.
Test the Drivestick
Using a multimeter, test the resistance and voltage sweep of the Drivestick. If the voltage output is stuck high or reads out of specification, the Drivestick (R74) has failed internally and must be replaced.
Replace Component
If the Drivestick is faulty, unbolt it from the armrest assembly, disconnect the harness, and install the new unit.
Module Verification
If the wiring and Drivestick test good, the fault lies within the MFA (A100) module itself, which will require replacement and potential reprogramming via the CLAAS Diagnostic System (CDS).
Clear Codes and Test
Reconnect the battery, restart the tractor, and verify that the armrest is active and full gear selection (beyond C1 and B1) has been restored.
