CLAAS Id7510h / 7510h – MFA (A100): Signal voltage specified with the distributor control on line 5 too high.

The system is detecting an abnormally high voltage signal from Axis 5 of the cross command (the Electropilot joystick), likely due to a short to power or a failed potentiometer/sensor, causing Axis 5 to become inactive.

   Identify the component: Electropilot electrodistributor n° 5 (R75)

   Inspect the wiring harness and Connector X17 between the joystick and MFA (A100) module for corrosion, bent pins, or moisture

   Test the signal wire for Axis 5 between the joystick and MFA module for a short to a 5V or 12V power source, or an open ground circuit

   Back-probe the Axis 5 signal wire at the joystick while moving it; if voltage remains stuck high, the internal sensor has failed

   Check the reference voltage sent from the MFA (A100) module to ensure the module itself is not internally shorted

   Power Down

   Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery to prevent electrical spikes during repair.

   Access the Armrest

   Carefully remove the trim panels on the right-hand multifunction armrest to expose the MFA (A100) module and the underside of the Electropilot joystick.

   Wiring Repair

   If the diagnostic checks revealed a chafed wire shorting to power, repair the wiring harness using appropriate automotive-grade wire and heat-shrink tubing.

   Component Replacement

   If the joystick sensor (R75) is confirmed dead, disconnect Connector X17. Unbolt the Electropilot joystick assembly from the armrest console and install the replacement unit.

   Reassembly

   Reconnect all harnesses, ensuring they are routed away from pinch points in the armrest mechanism. Reinstall the armrest trim.

   Clear Codes and Calibrate

   Reconnect the battery. Use a CLAAS diagnostic tool (CDS) to clear the Id7510h fault code from the MFA (A100) module. Perform a joystick calibration procedure in the CEBIS/CIS terminal so the module learns the new neutral, minimum, and maximum voltage values for the new joystick.

   Operate the hydraulic functions assigned to Axis 5 to confirm the repair.
