CLAAS Id7529h / 7529h – MFA (A100): Voltage of the signal specified by the engine speed + too high contact.

The system has detected an abnormally high voltage signal coming from the engine speed "+" (increase) button/contact. As a safety and operational precaution, the engine speed "+" contact is rendered inactive by the system.

   Check the + engine speed contact (CCN: S188) physical switch/button for internal shorts or sticking

   Verify the integrity of the S188 wiring harness for a short to power

   Check the MFA (A100) armrest multifunction module connector pins for corrosion, moisture, or damage that could be bridging voltage to the S188 signal pin

   Power Down

   Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery to prevent electrical spikes during testing.

   Inspect the Switch (S188)

   Locate the engine speed "+" contact switch on the multifunction armrest. Test the switch for continuity. If the switch is internally shorted (stuck closed) or damaged, it must be replaced.

   Test the Wiring

   Disconnect the harness from the S188 switch and the A100 MFA module. Use a multimeter to check for a short to voltage on the signal wire that runs between the switch and the module. Repair any chafed or melted wires.

   Inspect the Module (A100)

   If the switch and wiring test perfectly fine, the fault is likely internal to the MFA (A100) module. Reconnect the system, clear the codes using the CLAAS Diagnostic System (CDS), and test operation. If the code immediately returns, the MFA module may require replacement or reprogramming.
