CLAAS Id7540h / 7540h – MFA (A100): Voltage of the signal specified by the function F2 incoherent function

The function F2 contact is registering as inactive or sending an incoherent voltage signal to the control module.

   Check the function F2 contact switch, designated as component (S191).

   Check the MFA (A100) armrest multifunction module itself.

   Check the connectors and the continuity of the wiring harnesses linking the F2 contact to the MFA module.

   Check the sources of energy, including fuses, power supply, and ground connections.

   Access the multifunction armrest and locate the F2 function contact switch (S191).

   Inspect the wiring harness and connectors between the S191 switch and the A100 MFA module for physical damage, corrosion, or loose pins.

   Use a multimeter to test the wiring for continuity, short-circuits to ground, or open circuits. Repair any damaged wiring.

   Test the resistance and operation of the F2 contact switch (S191).

   If the switch fails the resistance check or is mechanically faulty, replace the switch.

   Verify that the MFA (A100) module is receiving proper power and ground from the fuse panel.
