The system receives "No message from the right-hand shock absorber 5 seconds after starting." Because the system cannot manage the cab's position, it triggers a protective degraded mode: the active damping is locked into "Hard mode," and the maximum tractor speed is restricted to 15 km/h.

   Check the module of the rear right jack of the cab suspension (A139) to ensure it is functioning

   Test the Z-Activ CAN bus network for communication errors

   Check the connectors and continuity of the harnesses linking the right-hand shock absorber to the A139 and A102 modules for short-circuits or open circuits

   Check the sources of energy, including fuses, power supply voltage, and ground connections to the suspension modules

   Check the component's operating conditions for mechanical seizing, physical damage, or air leaks around the right-hand shock absorber

   Support the Cab

   Safely support the rear right side of the tractor cab to remove weight from the suspension components.

   Inspect and Repair Wiring

   If the diagnostic checks revealed an open circuit or CAN bus failure on the Z-Activ network, repair the damaged wiring harness or connector at the A139 module.

   Remove the Faulty Component

   If the wiring is intact but the sensor/shock absorber has failed internally (causing the missing message), unbolt the right-hand shock absorber and cab suspension mounting hardware.

   Install the Replacement

   Fit the new right-hand shock absorber or suspension support assembly.

   Torque and Reconnect

   Torque all cab mounting bolts to the specified factory settings and securely reconnect the electronic sensor harness.

   Clear and Test

   Lower the cab, clear the fault codes from the SFA (A102) module, and start the tractor. Verify that the module receives the signal from the right-hand shock absorber within 5 seconds and that the 15 km/h speed restriction is lifted.
