CLAAS 75C5h – Claas Tr1 A57 1 Transmission Module: High Current Measured on Reverse Gear Solenoid Valve Return

Issue description

The actual current measured on the return of the reverse gear solenoid valve is higher than the setpoint. This condition triggers an audio warning and requests an ISC reset. The issue may be caused by a 12 V short circuit on the solenoid valve power supply harness, a fault in the solenoid valve winding, or an issue with the module.

Check the cause

  1. The solenoid valve power supply harness for a possible 12 V short circuit

  2. The resistance of the solenoid valve winding

  3. The 'Auto 5' module using tool n° 60 05 033 249

Repair steps

  1. Inspect the solenoid valve power supply harness

Check for a possible 12 V short circuit on the solenoid valve power supply harness.

  2. Measure the resistance of the solenoid valve winding

Use a multimeter to measure the resistance of the solenoid valve winding.

  3. Test the 'Auto 5' module

Use tool n° 60 05 033 249 to check the 'Auto 5' module and replace it if required.
