Id75C6h / 75C6h (307)

CLAAS Id75C6h / 75C6h (307) – TR1 (A57-1) / Auto 5: The current consumed by the forward gear solenoid valve is greater than 1,4 A (maximum allowable)

Issue description

The system is detecting that the electrical current flowing to the forward gear solenoid valve (often designated as component Y327) is exceeding the safe operational limit of 1.4 Amps. This typically points to a short circuit to 12V in the wiring harness, an internally shorted solenoid coil, or a failure within the control module itself.

Applies to these machines

  • CLAAS Axion 800 Series (810, 820, 830, 840, 850)
  • CLAAS Arion 500 and 600 Series (510, 520, 530, 540, 610, 620, 630, 640)

Check the cause

  1. Check for related codes 301 or 302 (which indicate inconsistent current measurements on the forward/reverse valves)

  2. Check for a possible 12 V short circuit on the forward gear solenoid valve power supply harness

  3. Measure the electrical resistance of the solenoid valve winding to see if the coil is internally shorted

  4. Check the Auto 5 transmission module using the official CLAAS diagnostic tool (Tool n° 60 05 033 249)

Repair steps

  1. Inspect the Wiring

Trace the wiring harness from the TR1 (A57-1) Auto 5 module to the forward gear solenoid valve. Look for rubbed-through insulation, melted wires, or pinched areas that could be shorting the power supply to a 12V source. Repair any damaged wiring.

  2. Test the Solenoid Valve

Disconnect the forward gear solenoid valve. Using a multimeter, measure the resistance across the valve's winding. If the resistance is out of specification (too low), the coil is shorted and the valve must be replaced.

  3. Test the Auto 5 Module

If the wiring is intact and the solenoid valve's resistance is normal, the fault may lie within the transmission controller. Connect the CLAAS diagnostic tool (60 05 033 249) to test the Auto 5 module's outputs.

  4. Replace Faulty Components

Change the solenoid valve or the Auto 5 module as required based on the test results.

  5. Clear Codes

Clear the fault codes and operate the tractor's shuttle reverser in the forward gear to ensure the current regulates properly and the code does not return.
