CLAAS 75D6h: TR1 (A57-1) Clutch Pedal Position and BOC Inconsistency (Component 1)
Issue description
The position of the clutch pedal and the status of the end-of-travel switch (BOC) are inconsistent. This may occur in three scenarios: the pedal is fully released but the BOC is closed, the BOC indicates the pedal is not fully released but the reverser controller is in neutral, or the reverser controller is not in neutral and the clutch pedal is depressed more than 50% but the pedal arm sensor remains open.
Check the cause
The position of the clutch pedal as indicated by the angle sensor
The status of the end-of-travel switch (BOC) on terminal pin 30 of the 'Auto 5.51'
The status of the reverser controller on terminal pin 19 of the 'Auto 5.51'
Repair steps
Verify the position of the clutch pedal using the angle sensor signal.
Ensure the angle sensor is correctly calibrated and providing accurate data.
Check the status of the end-of-travel switch (BOC) on terminal pin 30 of the 'Auto 5.51'.
Confirm whether the BOC is closed or open and compare it to the actual position of the clutch pedal.
Inspect the reverser controller status on terminal pin 19 of the 'Auto 5.51'.
Ensure the reverser controller is in the correct position and that the signal is accurate.
