CLAAS 75D6h – Claas Tr1 A57 1 Transmission Module: Clutch Pedal Position and BOC Inconsistency

Issue description

The position of the clutch pedal and the status of the end-of-travel switch (BOC) are inconsistent. This may occur in three scenarios: the pedal is fully released but the BOC is closed, the BOC indicates the pedal is not fully released but the reverser controller is in neutral, or the reverser controller is not in neutral, the pedal is depressed more than 50%, but the pedal arm sensor remains open.

Check the cause

  1. The clutch pedal position potentiometer (R73)

  2. The BOC clutch pedal low contact (Z152)

  3. The neutral position of the reverser lever (S171)

  4. Possible short circuit on 12 V on the harnesses of terminal pins 30 or 19

  5. Possible open circuit on the harness of terminal pin 30

Repair steps

  1. Inspect

Check the clutch pedal position potentiometer (R73) for proper function.

  2. Inspect

Check the BOC clutch pedal low contact (Z152) for proper function.

  3. Inspect

Verify the neutral position of the reverser lever (S171).

  4. Inspect

Check for a possible short circuit on 12 V on the harnesses of terminal pins 30 or 19.

  5. Inspect

Check for a possible open circuit on the harness of terminal pin 30.

  6. Test

Use tool n° 60 05 033 249 to test the “Auto 5” module and replace it if required.
