   Check the permanent 12V supply to verify there is no loss of power to the TR1 (A57-1) module prior to the switched 12V (ignition) shutting off

   Ensure the tractor's battery voltage is stable and not dropping below 7V during the shutdown phase

   Inspect the wiring harness, ground points, and connectors leading to the Auto 5 module (located behind the seat) for corrosion, moisture ingress, or loose pins

   Test Power Circuits

   Using a multimeter, probe the permanent 12V supply pin and the ground pin at the TR1 (A57-1) connector. Turn the ignition off and ensure the permanent 12V supply remains active and stable while the module powers down.

   Repair Wiring

   If the permanent 12V supply drops out simultaneously with the ignition, trace the circuit back to the fuse box and battery to repair the open circuit or replace the blown fuse.

   Replace the Module

   If the power supply and grounds are perfectly intact, the module's internal memory saving function has failed. Change the 'Auto 5' module.

   Install the new or remanufactured Auto 5 module. Pair and calibrate it to the tractor using the CLAAS Diagnostic System (CDS) laptop tool.
