CLAAS Id75DFh / 75DFh (332) – TR1 (A57-1): Short circuit or open circuit on range A solenoid valve (SVA)

The transmission control system has detected an electrical fault (either a short circuit or an open circuit) in the circuit controlling the "Range A" robotized solenoid valve (designated as component Y339-1).

   Inspect the Range A solenoid valve (SVA) (Component designation: Y339-1)

   Check the connectors and the continuity of the wiring harnesses linking the TR1 (A57-1) module to the Y339-1 solenoid valve for short-circuits to ground/power or open circuits

   Check the resistance of the Y339-1 solenoid valve and verify its sources of energy (fuses, power supply, and ground)

   Test the 'Auto 5' module using the official CLAAS diagnostic tool (Tool No. 60 05 033 249) to rule out an internal module failure

   Access the Transmission Valve Block

   Locate the transmission control valve block where the robotized range solenoids are housed.

   Inspect the Y339-1 Solenoid

   Disconnect the electrical connector for the Range A solenoid valve (Y339-1). Inspect the pins for corrosion, moisture, or damage.

   Test the Circuit

   Using a multimeter, measure the resistance across the solenoid coil to ensure it falls within OEM specifications. Next, check the harness side for continuity back to the TR1 (A57-1) transmission module and ensure there is no short to ground.

   Replace the Solenoid (if faulty)

   If the wiring is intact but the solenoid fails the resistance test (or is mechanically seized), replace the Range A solenoid valve.

   Test the Auto 5 Module (if solenoid is good)

   If the solenoid and wiring test perfectly, use CLAAS diagnostic tool 60 05 033 249 to test the "Auto 5" module. Replace the module if the tool indicates a failure.

   Clear Codes and Test

   Reconnect all components, clear the fault codes from the TR1 module, and test-drive the tractor to ensure Range A engages properly without triggering the alarm.
