CLAAS 75E4h – Claas Tr1 A57 1 Transmission Module: Inconsistency Between Selected Gear and Measured Ratio
Issue description
The system detects an inconsistency between the selected gear and the actual gear ratio being measured. This may be caused by issues with the gear selection mechanism, sensor data, or mechanical components related to the transmission.
Check the cause
Engine speed data
The reverser exit speed sensor under torque (B229)
Possible seizure of the forward/reverse or “Hexashift solenoid valves (PSV1, PSV2, PSV3)
Possible mechanical problem on the forward/reverse or “Hexashift” clutches (slippage)
Repair steps
Verify engine speed data
Check the engine speed data to ensure it is within expected parameters and not causing incorrect gear ratio calculations.
Inspect the reverser exit speed sensor under torque (B229)
Check the functionality and condition of the reverser exit speed sensor under torque (B229) for proper operation.
Check for seizure in the forward/reverse or “Hexashift solenoid valves (PSV1, PSV2, PSV3)
Inspect the forward/reverse or “Hexashift solenoid valves (PSV1, PSV2, PSV3) for signs of seizure or malfunction.
Examine the forward/reverse or “Hexashift” clutches
Look for signs of mechanical issues such as slippage or wear in the forward/reverse or “Hexashift” clutches.
