CLAAS Id75F7h / 75F7h (356) – TR1 (A57-1) Transmission Module: Short circuit on range C sensor

   Check the 'Auto 5' fuse, as a blown fuse can trigger this exact short-circuit code

   Inspect the connectors and continuity of the wiring harness linking the Range C position sensor (contact Z153-3) to the TR1 (A57-1) transmission module

   Probe the harness for any short-circuits to ground, short-circuits to power, or open circuits

   Check the sensor's resistance and operating voltage (typically utilizing a 10V or 12V supply pin and a signal return pin)

   Verify that there is no mechanical binding or failure inside the range module preventing Range C from engaging properly

   Power Down

   Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery or master switch to protect the TR1 module.

   Fuse Replacement

   Locate the fuse panel and inspect the 'Auto 5' fuse. If blown, replace it and retest the system before proceeding.

   Harness Repair

   If the fuse is intact, locate the Range C sensor on the transmission housing. Disconnect the sensor and use a multimeter to test the wiring back to the TR1 (A57-1) module. Repair any chafed wires or corroded connector pins.

   If the wiring is sound but the sensor fails resistance/voltage checks, remove the faulty Range C sensor from the transmission block and install the replacement.
