CLAAS Id75FAh / 75FAh (359) – TR1 (Transmission Control Module 1): Stack overload
Issue description
Software or memory processing error within the module where the memory 'stack' exceeds its allocated limit, causing 'Random behaviour' or 'Random operation' of the affected systems.
Applies to these machines
5 machines- Axion 800 series
- Axion 810
- Axion 850
- Arion 400 series
- Arion 600 series
Check the cause
Document and clear all error codes from the memory, then test the tractor to see if the anomaly returns
Check the sources of energy to the TR1 module, including battery voltage, fuses, power supply, and ground connections
Check the compatibility of the module's program versions, settings, and calibration
Repair steps
Connect diagnostic system
Connect the CLAAS Diagnostic System to the tractor's diagnostic port.
Read fault codes
Read and record all active and stored fault codes to identify if another sensor fault is cascading and causing the TR1 stack overload.
Clear and test
Clear the fault memory and operate the tractor to see if code 359 (Id75FAh) actively returns.
Inspect wiring and connectors
Inspect the wiring harness and connectors at the TR1 (A57-1) module for secure connections, ensuring there are no short circuits or open circuits.
Verify and update software
Verify the module's software version. If a newer software version is available from CLAAS, reflash the TR1 module to resolve the memory handling error.
Diagnose module failure
If the software is up-to-date, power/ground supplies are stable, and the code persists alongside random transmission behavior, the TR1 module itself has failed internally and must be replaced.
Replace and calibrate module
Replace the module using CLAAS tool n° 60 05 033 249 (or the modern CLAAS Diagnostic System equivalent) to properly program and calibrate the new unit to the tractor.
Parts you might need
(1)TR1 Transmission Control Module (Transmission ECU)
Identified by Component Number (CCN) A57-1 (or A141 on newer models). Must be flashed with the correct parameter set and calibrated using the CLAAS Diagnostic System.
