CLAAS Id75FEh / 75FEh (363) – TR1 (A57-1) Transmission Module: Palette position not detected.
Issue description
The system is unable to determine the position of the "palette" (the forward/reverse shuttle paddle/lever). Because the module cannot read whether the operator is commanding forward, reverse, or neutral, transmission directional control is compromised.

Check the cause
Check the connectors and the continuity of the harnesses linking the shuttle paddle switch to the TR1 (A57-1) module
Test the wiring for any short-circuits to ground/power or open circuits
Check the shuttle paddle switch's internal resistance and physical adjustment/mounting
Verify the sources of energy (fuses, module supply voltage, and ground connections)
Check the compatibility of program versions, settings, and calibration (if the module or switch was recently updated or replaced)
Repair steps
Document & Analyze
Note all error codes present on the tractor. Analyze if another code (such as a CAN bus communication error or voltage supply code) is generating this anomaly.
Visual Inspection
Inspect the forward/reverse shuttle paddle on the steering column/armrest for physical damage, mechanical seizing, or loose mounting.
Electrical Testing
Using a multimeter, perform the continuity and resistance tests outlined in the diagnostic checks between the paddle switch and the TR1 module.
Wiring Repair
If a broken wire or corroded pin is found, repair the harness or replace the connector.
Component Replacement
If the wiring, power, and grounds are intact but the switch fails resistance checks or still does not register a position, replace the shuttle paddle switch.
Clear & Retest
Clear all error codes from the TR1 module. Test drive the tractor, shifting between forward, neutral, and reverse to ensure the anomaly does not reappear.
Parts you might need
(1)Forward/Reverse Shuttle Paddle Switch
Specific OEM part numbers vary heavily depending on the exact model, cab configuration (CIS vs. CEBIS), and year. Look up the 'Shuttle switch' or 'Revershift paddle' in the specific CLAAS Parts Catalog (Parts Doc) using the tractor's VIN/serial number.
