Id7623h / 7623h (404)

CLAAS Id7623h / 7623h (404) – TR2 (A57-2) Transmission Module: Supply problem with high-pressure brake sensor.

Issue description

When this fault is triggered, the machine will sound an audio warning, and the brake indicator light on the dash will remain steadily "on".

Applies to these machines

  • Axion 810
  • Axion 850
  • Axion 960
  • Arion 420
  • Arion 510
  • Arion 640

Check the cause

  1. Measure the voltage being delivered by the V24 transformer to ensure the sensor is receiving the correct power supply

  2. Inspect the high-pressure brake sensor (B233 / B368) for physical damage or internal failure

  3. Check the connectors and continuity of the harnesses linking the sensor, transformer, and the TR2 module for short-circuits, open circuits, or corrosion

  4. Test the Auto 5 (TR2) module using the official CLAAS diagnostic testing tool to rule out an internal module failure

Repair steps

  1. Safety First

Park the tractor on a level surface, engage the parking brake, and turn off the engine. Depress the brake pedals repeatedly to safely discharge any residual pressure in the high-pressure brake accumulators.

  2. Inspect the Circuit

Locate the high-pressure brake sensor (B233/B368) on the brake circuit block. Disconnect the sensor and inspect the pins for corrosion or damage.

  3. Test Voltage

Turn the ignition on (engine off) and use a multimeter to verify that the reference voltage from the V24 transformer is reaching the sensor connector. If voltage is missing or out of specification: Trace the harness back to the V24 transformer and repair the wiring or replace the transformer.

  4. Module Testing

If the wiring and voltage are correct, connect the CLAAS diagnostic tool (Tool No. 60 05 033 249) to the "Auto 5" module to verify if the module is processing the signal correctly.

  5. Replace Faulty Component

If the module tests fine and voltage is present, the sensor itself has failed internally. Replace the high-pressure brake sensor. If the module fails the diagnostic test, the "Auto 5" module must be replaced.

  6. Clear and Calibrate

Reconnect all components, clear the fault codes via the diagnostic interface, and restart the tractor. Verify that the brake indicator light turns off and the audio warning ceases.
