CLAAS 762Ch: Steering Angle Sensor Voltage Issue (TR2 A57-2, Code 762Ch)
Issue description
The steering angle sensor (B117) is reporting a voltage outside the acceptable range of 0.5V to 4.5V. The transmission module TR2 (A57-2) interprets this as a steering angle of 0°, which triggers the diagnostic lamp to blink.
Check the cause
The voltage output of the steering angle sensor (B117)
The connection and wiring between the steering angle sensor (B117) and the transmission module TR2 (A57-2)
The functionality of the transmission module TR2 (A57-2)
Repair steps
Measure the voltage output of the steering angle sensor (B117)
Use a multimeter to check the voltage at the sensor. Ensure it is within the 0.5V to 4.5V range.
Inspect the wiring and connections
Check for any loose, damaged, or corroded connections between the steering angle sensor (B117) and the transmission module TR2 (A57-2).
Test the transmission module TR2 (A57-2)
Verify the operation of the transmission module TR2 (A57-2) to ensure it is correctly interpreting the sensor signal.
