CLAAS Id762Ch / 762Ch (413) – TR2 (A57-2) Transmission Module: Voltage of the steering angle sensor (B117) outside 0,5V and 4,5V.
Issue description
The system detects that the signal voltage from the steering angle sensor has dropped below 0.5V or exceeded 4.5V, indicating a sensor failure, wiring issue, or loss of calibration. As a safety/fallback response, the transmission module considers the steering angle to be exactly 0°. The diagnostic lamp will blink when this fault is active.

Check the cause
Check the physical condition of the steering angle sensor (B117) and its mechanical linkage for seizing or damage.
Check the wiring between the steering angle sensor (B117) and the TR2 (A57-2) module, inspecting connectors and testing harness continuity.
Check for any short-circuits or open circuits and verify the sensor's resistance.
Check the sources of energy to the sensor, including fuses, supply voltage (should be a stable 5V reference), and ground integrity.
Repair steps
Replace sensor
If the wiring is intact but the sensor is faulty, replace the steering angle sensor (B117).
Enter Calibration Mode
Enter Calibration Mode (usually accessed via the diagnostic interface or by returning to normal mode using the differential lock button as prompted by the system).
Left Stop Calibration
Turn the steering wheel fully to the left mechanical stop. Validate this position by pressing the differential locking button.
Center Calibration
Set the wheels perfectly straight (wheel in-line position). Validate this position by pressing the differential locking button.
Right Stop Calibration
Turn the wheels fully to the right mechanical stop. Validate this position by pressing the differential locking button to finish the calibration.
