CLAAS Id7647h / 7647h (440) – TR2 (A57-2): Current consumed by solenoid valve SV3 is greater than 1.4 A
Issue description
Fault code Id7647h (440) indicates that the current consumed by solenoid valve SV3 is greater than 1.4 A, which is the maximum allowable limit. This triggers an audio warning and requests an "ISC" reset.
Applies to these machines
2 machines- Axion 850-810 series
- Arion 640-510 series
Check the cause
Check for a possible 12 V short circuit on the solenoid valve power supply harness
Check the solenoid valve SV3 (Component ID: Y335-3), identified as the Ratio under torque solenoid valve
Check the connectors and continuity of harnesses linking each component for short-circuits, open circuits, resistance, and energy sources (fuses, supply, and ground)
Check the 'Auto 5' module using CLAAS diagnostic tool n° 60 05 033 249
Repair steps
Document Codes
Note all error codes present on the tractor and analyze any interactions (as one error code can generate another).
Inspect Wiring
Visually and electrically inspect the power supply harness leading to solenoid valve SV3 (Y335-3) for a 12V short to power or ground. Repair any damaged wiring.
Test the Solenoid
Measure the resistance of the SV3 solenoid valve winding to ensure it is within specification and not internally shorted (which would cause the current draw to exceed 1.4 A). Replace the solenoid valve if it fails the resistance test.
Test the Control Module
If the wiring and solenoid are intact, use diagnostic tool n° 60 05 033 249 to test the "Auto 5" module.
Replace Components
Change the "Auto 5" module or the solenoid valve if required based on the test results.
Clear and Verify
Clear all error codes, then test drive the tractor to ensure the anomaly does not return.
