CLAAS Id7649h / 7649h (442) – TR2 (A57-2) Transmission Control Module: Current sent to solenoid valve SV3 is insufficient (current regulation problem)

The control module is not detecting the expected electrical current draw from the SV3 solenoid valve, which typically points to high resistance, low voltage, or a failing solenoid coil. This fault triggers an audio warning and requests an "ISC" reset.

   Check the battery voltage to ensure the system is receiving adequate power

   Check for a possible resistance on the solenoid valve supply harness

   Check the solenoid valve SV3 itself (CLAAS Component Number Y335-3)

   Check the connectors and continuity of the harnesses linking the transmission module to the component

   Check for any short-circuits or open circuits in the wiring

   Check the component's resistance

   Check the sources of energy (fuses, supply, and ground)

   Verify Power

   Test the battery voltage and ensure the tractor's electrical system is operating at the correct voltage.

   Inspect Wiring

   Trace the wiring harness from the TR2 (A57-2) transmission module to the SV3 solenoid valve. Look for damaged wires, loose connectors, or corrosion that could cause high electrical resistance. Repair or replace damaged wiring.

   Test the Solenoid

   Measure the resistance of the SV3 solenoid valve (Y335-3). If the resistance is out of specification or the coil is open/shorted, replace the solenoid valve.

   Module Diagnostics

   If the battery, wiring, and solenoid valve are all in good working order, check the "Auto 5" module using CLAAS diagnostic tool n° 60 05 033 249.

   Replace Module

   Change the "Auto 5" module if it is determined to be faulty by the diagnostic tool.
