Issue description
The transmission control module is detecting an excessive electrical current draw (over 1.4 Amps) on the circuit for the SV2 solenoid valve. This typically indicates a short circuit to a 12V power source in the wiring harness, or an internal short/failure within the solenoid coil itself.

Check the cause
Check for a possible 12V short circuit on the solenoid valve power supply harness leading to the SV2 valve.
Check that the pins on the SV2 transmission solenoid valve connector are not disconnected, bent, rusty, or damaged.
Disconnect the SV2 solenoid valve (Component designation: Y335-2) and check the internal resistance of the solenoid coil using a multimeter.
Check the 'Auto 5' transmission module using the official CLAAS diagnostic tool (Tool n° 60 05 033 249) to rule out an internal module fault.
Repair steps
Preparation
Park the tractor on a level surface, engage the parking brake, and turn off the ignition. Locate the Hexashift transmission valve block (typically accessible from the side or under the cab, depending on the specific Arion/Axion model).
Locate SV2
Identify solenoid valve SV2 (OEM component designation Y335-2) on the transmission valve block.
Inspect Wiring
Carefully trace the wiring harness from the TR2 (A57-2) module to the SV2 solenoid. Look for chafed wires, melted insulation, or pinched areas that could cause a short to 12V power. Repair any damaged wiring.
Test the Solenoid
Unplug the electrical connector at the SV2 solenoid. Inspect the pins for corrosion or damage. Measure the resistance across the solenoid pins. If the coil is shorted internally (causing the >1.4A draw), the solenoid valve must be replaced.
Replace the Solenoid (if faulty)
Clean the area around the valve to prevent dirt from entering the hydraulic system. Unbolt/unscrew the SV2 cartridge valve from the manifold. Install the new solenoid valve, ensuring O-rings are lubricated with clean hydraulic oil. Torque to OEM specifications.
Test the Module (if solenoid and wiring are good)
If the wiring and solenoid test perfectly, the TR2 module itself may have an internal fault. Connect CLAAS diagnostic tool 60 05 033 249 to test the Auto 5 module. Replace the TR2 module if it fails the diagnostic test.
Clear Codes and Test
Reconnect all components. Turn on the ignition, clear the stored fault codes, and perform a test drive to ensure the Hexashift transmission shifts through all ranges without triggering the alarm.
