CLAAS Id7653h / 7653h (452) – TR2 (A57-2) Transmission Module: The current sent to solenoid valve SV1 is insufficient (current regulation problem).

The transmission control module is commanding the SV1 solenoid valve to actuate, but the electrical current flowing through the circuit is lower than the required threshold. This typically points to high electrical resistance in the wiring harness, a failing solenoid coil, poor connector contact, or a low voltage supply condition.

   Check the battery voltage to ensure the tractor's base voltage is sufficient, as low system voltage can cause current regulation faults.

   Check for resistance on the solenoid valve supply by inspecting the transmission wiring harness for open circuits, chafing, or high resistance.

   Check the solenoid valve SV1 (Component Y335-1) by testing the internal resistance of the solenoid coil.

   Check the TR2 module using CLAAS diagnostic tool (Tool No. 60 05 033 249) to verify if the module itself is failing to output the correct current.

   Verify Power Supply

   Measure the battery voltage at rest and while the engine is running to rule out alternator or battery issues.

   Inspect Connectors

   Locate the SV1 solenoid valve (Y335-1) on the transmission valve block. Disconnect the harness and inspect the pins for corrosion, moisture, or bent terminals.

   Test the Solenoid (Y335-1)

   Using a multimeter, measure the resistance across the pins of the SV1 solenoid valve. If the resistance is out of specification (indicating an open or degraded coil), the solenoid must be replaced.

   Test the Harness

   Measure the continuity of the wiring harness from the TR2 (A57-2) module connector to the SV1 solenoid connector. Look for high resistance or partial breaks in the wire.

   Module Testing

   If the wiring and solenoid test perfectly, the TR2 (A57-2) module may have an internal fault on that specific driver circuit. Test the module using the specified CLAAS diagnostic tool (60 05 033 249) and replace the module if it fails.

   Clear Codes

   After replacing the faulty component, clear the inactive codes and test drive the tractor through the Hexashift ranges to ensure the fault does not return.
