CLAAS 7689h – Claas Tr3 A57 3 Transmission Module: Clutch time of the PTO too high

The PTO continues running in poor conditions, resulting in an extended clutch time. This may affect the performance and efficiency of the tractor's power take-off system.

   Inspect

   Inspect the rear PTO speed sensor (B142) for proper function and connection.

   Inspect the rear PTO clutch for wear or malfunction.

   Inspect the rear PTO solenoid valve (Y325) for proper operation and connection.

   Check

   Check the steering pressure and engine speed for normal operation.

   Test the Powertrain CAN bus network for communication issues.

   Diagnose

   Use tool n° 60 05 033 249 to diagnose the “Auto 5” module and replace if required.
