CLAAS Id7694h / 7694h (521) – TR3 (A57-3) transmission module: Short-circuit to ground of the automatic hand brake engaging solenoid valve

   Check for a possible open circuit or short circuit to ground in the supply harness leading to the automatic hand brake engaging solenoid valve (Component Y323).

   Check for a possible internal short circuit to earth directly on the solenoid valve (Y323). Check the component's resistance and verify its energy sources (fuses, supply, and ground).

   Test the TR3 (A57-3) 'Auto 5' module using the official CLAAS 'Auto 5' diagnostic tool to verify if the module itself is outputting the fault erroneously.

   Inspect Wiring

   Trace the wiring harness for component Y323 (Activation solenoid valve of the automatic hand brake). Look for chafed wires, pinched lines, or damaged connectors that could cause a short to ground. Repair any damaged wiring.

   Test the Solenoid (Y323)

   Disconnect the Y323 solenoid valve. Use a multimeter to test for continuity to ground on the power supply pin of the solenoid. If the solenoid is internally shorted to ground, it must be replaced.

   Test the TR3 Module

   If the wiring and the solenoid test perfectly fine, connect the CLAAS 'Auto 5' control unit tool (Part No. 60 0503 324 9) and the input/output control harness (Part No. 60 0503 325 0) to the TR3 (A57-3) module.

   Replace Module

   If the diagnostic tool indicates the module has failed internally and is falsely grounding the circuit, replace the TR3 (A57-3) 'Auto 5' module.

   Clear Codes

   After replacing the faulty wiring, solenoid, or module, clear the fault codes from the CEBIS/WLP terminal and test the automatic hand brake engagement to ensure the system is operational.
