   The connection and integrity of the wiring related to the solenoid valve

   Inspect

   Inspect the 12V power supply harness (Y323) for the automatic hand brake engaging solenoid valve for signs of damage, wear, or short-circuiting.

   Test

   Use the ‘Auto 5’ module with tool number 60 05 033 249 to test the solenoid valve and its power supply circuit.

   Replace

   If a short-circuit is confirmed, replace the affected power supply harness (Y323) as needed.
