Id76ADh / 76ADh (724)

CLAAS Id76ADh / 76ADh (724) – REH (A58): Voltage of the high stop instruction signal non valid.

Issue description

The rear lifting mechanism is locked out from the in-cab controls. The operator is forced to use the external controls (located on the fenders) to operate the lift.

Applies to these machines

  • CLAAS Arion 400 Series (430, 410)
  • CLAAS Arion 500 / 600 Series (510, 610, 630, 640)
  • CLAAS Axion 800 Series (810, 850)
  • CLAAS Axion 900 Series (920, 950)

Check the cause

  1. Check the lifting control panel (V22) which originates the high stop instruction signal.

  2. Check the lifting module REH (A58) which receives the signal.

  3. Inspect wiring and connectors between the V22 control panel and the A58 REH module for short circuits, open circuits, or damaged pins.

  4. Verify power supply, ground, and the specific voltage of the high stop instruction signal coming from the V22 panel to ensure it is within the valid operating range.

Repair steps

  1. Safety and preparation

Turn off the tractor and ensure the rear hitch is safely supported or lowered to the ground.

  2. Inspect wiring harness

Locate the V22 Rear lifting control panel in the cab and the A58 REH module (typically located under the right-hand console). Inspect the wiring harness between these two components for chafing, breaks, or corrosion.

  3. Test the V22 panel voltage

Using a multimeter, test the output voltage of the high stop instruction signal from the V22 lifting control panel while adjusting the dial/slider.

  4. Replace faulty component

If the V22 panel fails to output a valid, smooth voltage signal (or has an internal open/short circuit), replace the V22 lifting control panel. If the wiring is intact and the V22 panel outputs the correct voltage, but the A58 module still registers an invalid signal, replace the A58 REH module.

  5. Clear codes and test

After replacing the faulty component or repairing the harness, clear the error codes from the system and test the rear lifting mechanism using the in-cab controls to verify the repair.

Parts you might need

(2)
  • Rear Lifting Control Panel (V22)

Cab control console for Arion and Axion series. Exact 10-digit part number requires VIN/Serial Number.

  • Rear Lifting Module (Auto 5 type) (A58)

Located under the right-hand console; manages the 98 l/min rear lift hydraulics. Exact 10-digit part number requires VIN/Serial Number.
