The system locks the lifting function as a safety precaution. The operator is forced to use the external controls (located on the fenders) to operate the lift.

   Inspect the rear stop lifting contact (Component S184) on the multifunction armrest to see if it is physically jammed, sticky, or stuck in the depressed position.

   Check the component's resistance to verify if the switch has failed internally (closed circuit).

   Check for any short-circuits or open circuits in the wiring.

   Check the connectors and continuity of the harnesses linking the S184 contact to the MFA (A100) armrest multifunction module.

   Check the sources of energy (fuses, power supply, and ground) to the MFA (A100) module.

   Verify that the MFA (A100) armrest multifunction module is communicating properly and not sending an incoherent command.

   Physical Inspection & Cleaning

   Examine the S184 stop lifting button on the armrest. Clean around the button with contact cleaner or compressed air to ensure debris isn't holding the contact down.

   Test the Switch

   Disconnect the S184 switch and test it with a multimeter. If the switch shows continuity without being pressed, it is internally shorted and must be replaced.

   Test the Harness

   If the switch tests fine, trace the wiring from the S184 switch to the MFA (A100) module. Repair any pinched wires or shorts to ground.

   Module Replacement

   If the switch and wiring are intact but the A100 module continues to read the switch as 'pressed,' the MFA (A100) module itself may have an internal fault and require replacement.

   Clear and Verify

   After freeing the switch or replacing the faulty component, restart the tractor to clear the active restriction. Test the rear lifting function via the armrest to ensure normal operation has resumed.
