CLAAS Id76B7h / 76B7h (734) – REH (A58) Module: Voltage of the down speed instruction non valid.

The control module is receiving an invalid voltage signal from the down-speed adjustment dial/potentiometer on the lifting control panel. Control of the down speed becomes inactive and the system defaults to the lowest down speed for safety.

   Visual Inspection

   Inspect the V22 lifting control panel in the cab. Check the down-speed adjustment dial for physical damage, binding, or liquid intrusion.

   Harness Testing

   Disconnect the harness between the V22 control panel and the A58 REH module. Use a multimeter to check for continuity, shorts to ground, or shorts to voltage. Repair any damaged wiring.

   Voltage Test

   Back-probe the V22 control panel output for the down-speed instruction. Sweep the dial and verify if the voltage scales smoothly. If the voltage drops out, spikes, or reads out of bounds, the V22 panel has a failed internal potentiometer.

   Component Replacement

   If the wiring is intact but the signal is invalid, replace the V22 Lifting Control Panel.

   Module Verification

   If the V22 panel tests perfectly but the code remains active, the fault lies within the A58 REH module's internal circuitry. Replace or reflash the A58 module.

   Clear Codes

   After repair, clear the fault codes using the CLAAS Diagnostic System (CDS) and verify that the rear hitch down-speed operates correctly.
