CLAAS Id76BAh / 76BAh (737) – REH (A58) Module: Voltage of the skid instruction signal non valid.
Issue description
Skid control becomes inactive.
Applies to these machines
4 machines- CLAAS Axion 850 - 810
- CLAAS Axion 950 - 920
- CLAAS Arion 640 - 510
- CLAAS Arion 430 - 410
Check the cause
Analyze Error Codes: Check for interaction between error codes, as one error can generate another. Identify if Id76BAh is the origin of the anomaly.
Check the Lifting Control Panel (V22): Verify the functionality and outputs of the rear lifting control panel.
Check the Lifting Module REH (A58): Inspect the module itself for signs of failure.
Wiring and Harnesses: Check the connectors and continuity of the harnesses linking the V22 control panel and the A58 REH module. Look for any short-circuits or open circuits.
Power and Ground: Check the sources of energy (fuses, power supply, and ground) feeding the REH module.
Component Resistance: Check the component's resistance and adjustment if required.
Repair steps
Initial Assessment
Turn on the tractor and verify the active fault codes on the CIS display or Cebis terminal.
Inspect Wiring
Access the V22 Rear Lifting Control Panel and the A58 REH Module (located under the right-hand console). Disconnect the harnesses and test the pins for continuity, ensuring there is no short to ground or open circuit in the skid instruction signal wire.
Test Power Supply
Verify that the A58 module is receiving proper 12V supply and that the ground (31) is secure.
Component Replacement
If the wiring and power supplies are intact, the fault lies within either the V22 Lifting Control Panel (sending an invalid voltage) or the A58 REH Module (failing to process the signal). Replace the faulty component as dictated by the pinout voltage tests.
Clear and Retest
Clear all error codes from the system memory. Test drive the tractor and operate the rear lift/skid control to ensure the anomaly does not reappear.
