CLAAS 76BBh: REH Lifting Module Lacks Speed Information from Powertrain CAN Bus

Issue description

The REH lifting module has not received the actual speed information for more than 1 second over the Powertrain CAN bus. As a result, skid control is inactive or has been deactivated if it was active.

Check the cause

  1. Powertrain CAN bus communication

  2. REH lifting module connection to the Powertrain CAN bus

  3. Signal transmission from the source of speed information to the REH lifting module

Repair steps

  1. Verify the integrity of the Powertrain CAN bus wiring and connections.

Check for loose, damaged, or corroded connections on the Powertrain CAN bus.

  2. Test the Powertrain CAN bus for signal continuity and proper operation.

Use a diagnostic tool to monitor the Powertrain CAN bus and confirm the presence of speed data.

  3. Inspect the component providing speed information to the REH lifting module.

Ensure that the component responsible for sending speed data is functioning correctly.
