CLAAS Id76C0h / 76C0h (743) – REH (A58): Calibrating.... / Lifting calibration....
Issue description
Informational status code indicating that the rear hydraulic lifting system is currently undergoing its calibration procedure. It does not trigger a degraded mode or lock out other unrelated tractor functions.
Applies to these machines
6 machines- CLAAS Axion 810
- CLAAS Axion 850
- CLAAS Arion 410
- CLAAS Arion 430
- CLAAS Arion 510
- CLAAS Arion 640
Check the cause
Wait for the lifting calibration to finish; no immediate intervention is required while this code is active
Monitor for failure codes, specifically Id76C1h (744), which indicates the calibration process encountered an error
If calibration fails, check the REH (A58) module's wiring harness and the rear lift position sensors
Ensure there is no mechanical binding in the rear linkage
Repair steps
Acknowledge status
No physical repair is required for code 76C0h itself, as it simply means the system is calibrating.
Prepare tractor
Ensure the tractor is parked on level ground with the rear linkage free of obstructions (and ideally without a heavy implement attached, unless the specific calibration procedure calls for a known weight).
Run calibration
Let the calibration routine run its course via the in-cab terminal.
Reboot system
If the system gets 'stuck' on this code, cycle the tractor's key switch to reboot the CLAAS CAN bus and REH module, then restart the calibration procedure.
Inspect connections and sensors
If the calibration repeatedly fails and defaults to factory parameters (Code 76C1h), inspect the physical connections at the A58 module under the right-hand console and verify the integrity of the rear lift position sensors.
Parts you might need
(1)CLAAS Rear Lifting Module (REH)
A58Only required if calibration permanently fails due to a fried module.
