   Check the connectors and continuity of the harnesses linking the TR1 module to the BDG module on the Powertrain CAN Bus Network.

   Check for any short-circuits or open circuits on the CAN bus lines.

   Check the sources of energy to the TR1 transmission module (A57-1), including all relevant fuses, main power supply (12V), and ground connections.

   Check the TR1 transmission module (A57-1) and the CAN network communication module BDG (A103) for physical damage, moisture intrusion, or pin corrosion.

   Inspect wiring and connectors

   Locate the TR1 transmission module (A57-1) and the BDG module (A103). Disconnect the harnesses and inspect the pins for corrosion or damage.

   Test power and ground

   Using a multimeter, verify that the TR1 module is receiving proper 12V power and has a solid ground. If power is missing, trace the circuit back to the fuse box and replace blown fuses or repair broken wires.

   Test CAN lines

   Measure the resistance of the Powertrain CAN bus to ensure the network is intact (typically 60 ohms across CAN High and CAN Low with batteries disconnected).

   Replace faulty module

   If the wiring, power, and ground are all verified as good, the fault lies internally within either the TR1 transmission module (failing to send) or the BDG module (failing to receive). Replace the faulty module.

   Perform calibration and programming

   If a module is replaced, check the compatibility of program versions, settings, and perform any required EOL (End of Line) calibrations using the CLAAS Diagnostic System.
