CLAAS Id7705h / 7705h – BDG (A103): Engine controller disconnected during a sequence CSM.
Issue description
The engine controller is inoperative during a CLAAS Sequence Management (CSM) operation.

Check the cause
Check the CLAAS vehicle CAN bus network for communication integrity between the BDG (A103) module and the Engine Controller
Check the connectors and the continuity of the harnesses linking the components, looking for any short-circuits or open circuits
Check the sources of energy (fuses, power supply, and ground) for both the BDG module and the Engine ECU
Check the compatibility of the program versions, settings, and calibration
Repair steps
Wait for Auto-Initialization
When the fault occurs, wait for 20 seconds. The tractor is programmed to initialize and automatically relaunch the sequence.
Reset the CSM
If nothing happens after the 20-second initialization period, manually reset the CSM (CLAAS Sequence Management).
Clear and Retest
Note the error codes, clear them from the system, and try operating the tractor again to see if the anomaly reappears.
Physical Repair
If the code returns, perform the physical diagnostic checks on the CAN bus wiring, fuses, and connectors between the BDG (A103) and the Engine Controller. Repair any damaged wiring or loose pins.
Component Replacement
If wiring and power sources are verified as good, the BDG module or Engine Controller may need to be replaced and reprogrammed.
