CLAAS 773Ch: High Average Temperature of Cooled Exhaust Gases
Issue description
The system detects that the average temperature of cooled exhaust gases is excessively high. The engine calculator reduces engine power by 20% per minute until it reaches 50% of its nominal power. Power is recovered at a rate of 20% per minute once the condition is resolved.
Check the cause
The temperature sensor for cooled exhaust gases
Wiring and connections to the temperature sensor
Cooling system for the exhaust gases
Repair steps
Inspect the temperature sensor for cooled exhaust gases
Check for damage, corrosion, or loose connections.
Verify the wiring and connections to the temperature sensor
Ensure all connections are secure and free from damage.
