This code indicates a critical internal error or failure within the engine control unit. The ECU may be locked due to resets, a programming failure, or a loss of communication. The engine will not start.

   Check the Powertrain CAN Bus Network for short circuits or open circuits in the CAN-High and CAN-Low communication lines leading to the ENG (A15) module.

   Test the power supply and ground connections to the ECU for voltage drops, spikes, or weak grounds.

   Inspect the 32-pin and 48-pin connectors on the ENG (A15) module for moisture, corrosion, or pushed-out pins.

   Verify if the ECU can be communicated with via a diagnostic tool (like Jaltest or CLAAS CDS) to attempt a re-flash or reset.

   Disconnect battery

   Disconnect the tractor's battery before servicing the engine module.

   Locate module

   Locate the ENG (A15) module (typically mounted on the engine block or firewall, depending on the model).

   Disconnect connectors

   Disconnect the wiring harness connectors (32-pin and 48-pin).

   Replace or reprogram module

   If wiring, power, and ground tests pass but the module remains unresponsive or locked, the ENG (A15) module has failed internally and must be replaced or reprogrammed.

   Install new ECU

   Install the new or reconditioned ECU.
