CLAAS Id7750h / 7750h (651 02) – ENG (A15) - Engine Control Module: Reference of the injector of cylinder n°1 non valid
Issue description
The engine control module has detected an invalid calibration reference or an invalid part number for the electronic fuel injector on cylinder #1. As a result, the engine may run with difficulty, misfire, or run in a degraded mode due to the incorrect balancing/calibration of the cylinder #1 injector.

Check the cause
Verify the Engine Module ENG (A15): Ensure the ECU is communicating properly and has the correct software version.
Check the Electronic Injector (Y320-1): Inspect the injector for cylinder #1.
Wiring and Harness Continuity: Check the connectors and the continuity of the wiring harness linking the ENG (A15) module to the Y320-1 injector. Look for short-circuits to ground or open circuits.
Calibration / Trim Codes: Verify that the injector calibration code (trim code) programmed into the Engine ECU matches the physical code printed on the cylinder #1 injector.
Repair steps
Inspect Connections
Disconnect the harness at injector #1 (Y320-1) and at the ENG (A15) module. Inspect the pins for corrosion, pushed-back terminals, or damage.
Verify Calibration
Using a CLAAS diagnostic tool (CDS), read the injector calibration code programmed for cylinder #1. Compare it to the alphanumeric code stamped on the top of the physical injector.
Reprogram if Necessary
If the codes do not match (which often happens if an injector was previously replaced but not programmed), enter the correct calibration code into the Engine ECU.
Replace the Injector
If the wiring is intact and the calibration code is correct but the fault persists (or if the injector fails a resistance/electrical test), the electronic injector (Y320-1) must be replaced.
Install and Calibrate
Install the new injector and strictly follow common rail cleanliness protocols. You must program the new injector's calibration code into the ENG (A15) module so the ECU can correctly balance the fuel delivery.
Clear Codes
Clear the fault codes and test-run the tractor to ensure the engine runs smoothly without misfires.
